How to Make Achappam

Begin by mixing the rice flour, powdered sugar, all purpose flour, salt, sesame and cumin seeds into a large mixing bowl. Mix all together and then start to add the coconut milk. Whisk the coconut milk in until the mix is thick.

Heat cooking oil on medium-high in a large pot. Once the oil is heated, place the cookie molder in the oil until it heats up.

Dip the mold into the batter 3/4 of the way. Place the batter and mold in the cooking oil. Hold in the oil until batter turns a light brown color.

Hold the mold over a plate and use a fork to slowly inch each edge of the cookie off of the mold. Repeat and serve for a delicious snack!
