How to Make City Chicken

1
Done

Using 6 wooden skewers, thread 2 to 3 cubes of pork onto each. Season all sides with season salt, salt, and pepper. Place the skewers of pork to the side for later.

2
Done

In a bowl, add the flour and garlic. Then season the mix with salt and pepper and stir to combine. Next, roll the pork skewers or kabobs in the mixture until they are fully covered.

3
Done

Over medium heat, heat the butter, and the oil in a large pan. Turning frequently, cook the meat until it is browned. Drain the large pan and sprinkle the meat with the soup mix.

4
Done

After adding broth and water, bring the large pan to a very low boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and cover and let it simmer for an hour or until the meat is tender. Remove the meat and keep it warm. (Optional: Simmer the pan with the leftover juices to make a wonderful gravy to put over the meat and mashed potatoes.)
