How to Make Cranberry Bliss Bars
1 Done | Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray the cooking spray over the baking pan. Start by mixing half the flour, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl and set aside. |
2 Done | In another large mixing bowl add the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar then mix with a whisk until a thick, crumbly consistency. In the same bowl add the applesauce, egg whites, and 2 tsp of vanilla extract and mix well until smooth consistency. Pour in the remaining flour mixture from the beginning and combine until thick. Then add half the chocolate chips and 1/3 cup cranberries and combine. |
3 Done | Place the thick, combined mix on a baking pan and press into the bottom, making it flat. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. In another large mixing bowl add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract and mix with a mixer until creamy. Slowly add the baking chocolate to the cream and mix again. Then combine dried cranberries. Use a spatula to evenly layer the mixture on top of the baked bar mix. Use the remaining chocolate to drizzle the top with remaining cranberries and chill until chocolate has set. Cut and serve! |
