2 tablespoons Butter
3 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Milk

How to Make Creamy Chicken Penne Pasta


On a cutting board, mince an onion and some cabbage (enough to equal a cup). Also, mince enough garlic to equal out 1 tablespoon. Chop the chicken into small chunks. Then, finely chop 1 green bell pepper, 1 red bell pepper, and 1 large tomato.


Fill a large pot with water for the penne pasta. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and the penne pasta to the large pot. Place the temperature on high until boiling, then boil until the pasta is tender and soft. Once the penne pasta is cooked, drain and set aside.


Add a large drizzle of olive oil and the chopped garlic to a large pan. Place the chopped chicken in the pan. Cook until chicken is done (about 5 minutes) while seasoning with 1 teaspoon of basil, red chili flakes, salt, and pepper throughout. Once the chicken is cooked, pour in the chopped vegetables and saute until fragrant. Remove the mix from the pan and set aside.


Using the same pan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and 3 tablespoons of flour. Gradually add milk. Make sure to mix well to avoid lumping. Season the sauce with 1/2 teaspoon of red chili flakes, basil, salt, and pepper. Empty the penne pasta and the vegetable mix in the large pan of sauce. Mix well and serve!
Tip: You can sprinkle diced scallion over it for more flavor.
